    Hey @Black_Sheep

Post up pics of the new front bumper that you'd like me to use on this page.

To everybody else, I've been out of the country for a few weeks. Sorry I haven't done any thread maintenance. Should be home soon :)

New @Relentless Stingray lo-pro winch mount bumper! I have the "Illumination" series which features the LED bar cutout. So in love! If you get the Illumination series you can get a cutout for a 20" Rigid Radiance bar or a Baja Designs 20" S8 bar. There are also three different grille patterns to choose from that are interchangeable if you ever get sick of the current one!

When is someone going to come out with a 5th gen hybrid plate/tube front winch bumper?!

Just updated the OP. Looking for a good shot of Addicted Off Road's new front bumper then that will be added as well.

Please let me know if you see any companies making armor that I have forgotten.

Anyone have a picture of the top (engine) side of an RCI or similar front skid plate they can PM me? Contemplating adding an oil filter access port to my TRD front skid plate. Curious how beefy I would need to reinforce the backside, around the piece I cut out, and re-secure to. Thanks

It's not super beefy and I doubt it would stand up to a really strong hit.

Yeah, this doesn't quite show the angle I'm looking for. Thanks though.

Not sure what visual you need, then. It's a square cut, with two aluminum strips welded across the top inside, with steel fast nut style inserts set into the middle for the bolts to secure the door. Fairly simple design.

My bad, the RCI website showed the opening on the angled forward facing surface. Between viewing this on my phone and that impression, I missed the strips you pointed out. Thanks

Ah. Yes. I had a similar question because my skid has the door on the angled portion and the picture I posted above has the door on the flat portion. I was told the difference is the flat door is KDSS models (because the skid plate sits a bit differently on the frame) and the angled door is non-KDSS. Either way, the way the door mounts is the same.

If you get a chance OP, look on brute force fab's facebook page .. I would but I don't have fb. They posted some a long time ago that they did for a 5th gen 4R that looks (IMO) the best all around, none of it's on the website though unfortunately.

I had them up! Billy removed them from his Facebook and REI pleaded them so they got deleted from here. I'll add them again.

I am looking for front and rear bumpers for my 2016 5th gen. I really don't want one that requires cutting of the original parts. I have seen a few options for the front bumper but for the rear I am only seeing Southern Style Offroad as an option. Their bumper looks really nice but currently they are not accepting any new orders. I looked at 4x4 labs as well because theirs does not look to require cutting however they do not have the option to not have the swing out arms for the tire etc. I really just want the bumper I do not need all the other stuff nor do I have room for it in the garage. Any thoughts?

Thanks for your help on this. Hopefully I can find something soon. I got bumped from behind so the stock bumper is now damaged. I'd really rather replace it with a steel option rather than letting Toyota put new plastic on there.

CBI and Schrockworks both require cutting and I just learned that so does 4x4 Labs does require cutting and if you do it without the tire arm the. You have no place for the spare since it can not stay under the truck with their bumper. So that one is out.

Oh man! What is the width of those tires? How did you fit such wide tires? That is one stanced runner!

OP- You should make one of these threads for the 3rd gen taco! I think that car needs one of these threads.

Installed Rago brackets and 4" cube ditch lights. Weather tech mats. Cargo net. Cargo mat. Ordered Gobi rack with ladder.

I always have the ball hitch attached to the back of my vehicles just in case the occasional bump happens. An f-150 bumped my sons TRDP and put a nice crease in the f-150 front bumper and nothing to the runner. A $20 hitch with a 2" ball saved a thousand or so in body damage.
