    If you're planning on dropping the weight of your 4Runner onto boulders, then yes. If not, most of the other frame-mounted sliders will work.

    Ordered RCI 5 degree Bare steel sliders on BlackFriday. With Tax & Shipping $752.31 plus another $51.81 @ Home Depot for 2 cans of self-etching primer, 2 cans of Flat Black Paint, 1 can of Bedliner paint, sheet of 400 grit and a can on acetone! Now... waiting for 6-10wks

    Good choice for bare steel. RCI is not known for packing their powder coated sliders well enough to prevent shipping damage.

    I got lucky then as the RCI sliders I had Apex Overland install (she's a dealer) were flawless in the finish. Not that they will stay that way, but at least mine while new look great.

    im right on the cusp of getting some cali raised sliders i saw online...good price too...anyone have any +/- to share about these? flat, kick out, top plate, bedlined.

    RSG Offroad Rock Sliders are also strong enough to lift the entire vehicle. Just another option for you to consider.
