    Is he a barker?

I ask because most Doodle mixes, mine included, like to bark at the mail man and when people come over. Kinda guard dog like, but all bark. And my guess is it's from the poodle side.

He barks at deliveries and we have a green belt behind us, so he barks at people walking/running/biking. He has never ever barked at someone in the house though.

My wife says I should clarify that he lets out a singular bark at those times but he won’t endlessly bark…like the Yorkie we had that would bark so long he would tweak his own neck.

One time there was a cat in our backyard and he let out a loud bark then stood in between me and the TV making eye contact like “Dude, do you see what is out there!!!”

Look, twinsies out mall crawling! Me (right) comparing the other guy, he had the new pro rims. Unfortunately he had his painted with red highlights. Bold yet ugly. Tried to steal his valance but it wouldn't come off lol. My next project, do the valance.

It is RIGHT next to Hwy 395. Going south, there is a sign about a mile or two, then a small sign at the exit, which is basically a service road. The old gate/entrance is further south along the service road for a mile or so. The large Quonset hut/ high school-gym is the visitor's center (Just look for the American Flag). Most of the site is a driving tour. The site is 9 miles north of Lone Pine, California and 6 miles south of Independence, CA. NOTE: Manzanar is currently closed due to Hurricane/Storm Hilary. If you are going that way, check out Bodie, just south of Bridgeport, CA.

I'll second that. After Yosemite, my two favorite places on the other side are Bodie and Mono Lake.

Well, daaaayum! I had previously seen your bumper, which I thought looks better and more functional than most of the bumpers currently on the market...then I saw that roof rack, and I thought to myself, "that's the most sturdy and handsome roof rack I have ever seen on a 4Runner...I'll have to find out where he bought that." If you ever start selling those roof racks, please let me know, and don't tell anyone else, LOL.

Haven't gone back to Yosemite since my last climbing trip in the mid to late 60s. Too many idiots and tourons!

We got very lucky in the mid-90s. We hit a warm stretch in October and it wasn't very crowded. It helped that we hiked way back in, and on some days stuck to long-abandoned trails. In four days, I don't think we saw more than a dozen people farther than two miles from a trailhead.

If you're going to Manzanar, check out the abandoned airport on the east side of Highway 395, opposite the camp. If speed is your thing, you'll enjoy ripping up and down the runways, surrounded by sagebrush. And the Reward Mine is just another couple miles east, a must-see place that even stock 4runners can reach. https://www.google.com/maps/@36.7221368,-118.1512034,1927a,35y,26.06h,37.27t/data=!3m1!1e3?entry=ttu

Beware of deep sand on the side roads.

Edit: @alittleoff is right, there's some real nice, soft terrain along the entire Sierra Front in that area. Many of the gullies have water in them, with shade. Nice, private places to camp with views of the valley.

There's also some easy forest service roads to the West (behind) Manzanar that are up against the foothills.

Moffat Ranch, Hogback Rd., to the south, and Onion Valley out of Independence.

The vegetation was overgrown along the numbered FS rd., but we were in my TJ
so it was of little concern because of all the rock rash it has.

Just remember that the definition of "easy" has been changed recently. Especially along the Sierras and Cascades!

Did you turn around and run back to the mall parking lot?
