They are bringing some Bear Claw armored hum-v thing to our common area next week. And breaking out the drones. I will get pics and report back...

Any idea what is happening here with these dash lights??? Have not had a chance to check the owners manual. No codes tripped. Several of them flash. ABS stays solid. Everything is normal after restart...thanks

I had that happened and it was because my my Wheel Speed censor harness broke. I had no ABS,4 whee drive, and no traction control.

Thanks for letting me know what happened to you. Yeah it does it randomly now and all I have to do is shut it off and it's normal. It says "multi-terrain select is unavailable" on the center screen when this happens. I'm taking it to the dealer Monday

How many miles on that? Hard to tell on Mobil but looks a little dirty?

That’s the original fluid. No hard driving or anything. I fully expected it to look like that. My 2015 Tacoma looked the same way when I changed it- albeit, that was at about 25k miles.
I’ll sleep better knowing it’s done. Next up is the front diff. I suspect it looks the same. Transfer case most likely looks like new

    Are you in the midwest?
I-29 has done that twice this year. Very big losses in the economy. Very sad.

It’s from my local dealer. I actually didn’t pay a single penny for any of it or the oil for my oil change. They “gifted: it to me after I went in for an oil change, sat for an hour, was told they changed the oil- yet they did nothing. I’m sure my response to the situation that I had absolutely zero faith in them and to just give me the damn oil I’ll change it myself had a little impact

    Why 140? I thought spec was 90.

Curious. I need to double check my manual now because i bought 75W-90 planning to do both diffs in my 4R. Assumed spec was same as my Tacoma was.

Running 140 wont hurt it if spec is 90 but i dont want to run too thin if spec is 140.

I was just looking in the 2010 service manual and it says 75W-85 for diffs. Closest thing easy to find is 75w-90. I ran 75w-140 Lucas non-synthetc in Tacoma on recommendation from ECGS. Never noticed a downside to the heavier stuff.

I’m not sure why the dealer pushed this weight. It’s gonna bug me now and I’ll have to call and find out lol
I asked when I was there originally and they swore this was correct. May have to walk in with the book in hand

I wonder if they changed it for the 2018’s or somewhere close to that
