Hello everyone! I have been a 4runner owner for 4 years now and just love my 4runner. I have gone off roading with my 4runner all the way in the east coast and in the west coast, I have taken it across country going on 3 times since I am currently in the military. I am about to move to Arizona and hopefully be staying there for the next 5 years instead of permanently change station (PCS) every couple of years. Each time I have loved the ride and interior design. But I am now looking into doing a couple of MODS on my 4runner and wanted to know with you more experienced 4runner owners on the good and bad on adding MODS on your 4runners.

One I am looking into updating my rear and front bumper for better protection and I wanted to know if I upgraded my suspension to maybe a ICON stage 3 suspension and include upgrade the front and rear bumper for more protection how have your gas mileage changed? I have looked all over the internet and looked at different forums but not really seen how people are dealing with the gas mileage. I am looking forward to going on most medium trails, not really hardcore rock climbing. I want to go to MOAB and just try different medium trails but mostly be happy with knowing that no matter where I go my 4runner will get there with less body damage than what I have not on my limited...

Just FYI, I am not looking in trading in my 4runner for a TRD Pro since having dual AC and AC Seats I cannot live without anymore. LOL But any information on what you guys think about good bumpers, and maybe better suspension to look out for since most of the 4runner I have seen are running Icons or emu suspensions. I am not working about cost since I know you get what you pay for but I am also not trying to break the bank. Thank you all for any guidance and I can't wait to learn more about what other people have done with their 4runner limited.

You’re gonna need those AC seats when you move to AZ.

This 4Runner is my first vehicle with leather seats. I am not a fan of this summer thing in AZ. May get seat covers for the fronts for summer months.

Thank you for the advice! I will look into that since I will be moving next month to AZ. But then I again I do have some killer wind shield protectors that has kept my interior somewhat cooler. But I will definitely look into some seat covers so that I don't burn my but cheeks!
