3rd gen to 2nd gen drivetrain swap

    Heys guys I have a ‘92 4x4 5 speed and I just got a ‘96 donor with a 5 speed to of course swap the motor. I can’t seem to find any info on whether the ‘96 trans and axles will work on the ‘92 with little issue. The donor vehicle has about 100,000 less miles than my rig and the drivetrain is in great shape so it would be great to utilize it. Any thoughts or suggestions on if it will work or should I just stay with the original drivetrain.
