Hi newbie here, been searching the forum for information but could not get much information.

I have 2020 Tacoma off-road strut assembly and shocks that I removed with 5k miles, and was wondering if it could be swapped to a 2019 4runner off-road. I understand that 3rd gen tacoma shocks fit 3-4th gen 4runners, but for the 4th gen lower bushings are a bit narrower (a few mm). I am thinking that the Bilstein 4600s from Tacoma OR may give a better ride than the 4runner stocks...

If anyone has done the swap, can you share the experience and whether if it is even worth wasting time thinking about it? Should I just go with Bilstein 5100 or Eibach pro? Thanks in advance.

Ever swap them? I have extra 5100 from my Tacoma I’ve been thinking about putting on my 4R.
