    Greetings:

My 3rd gen 2.7liter gas engine, auto tranny, 4x4 Surf/4R does not have cruise control. Am interested in whether I can add it. Anyone have thoughts about whether it can be done, how it would be done, what is needed to do it if it can be done? I take fairly long day rides, slow and fast, and at the end of a long day my lower leg and ankle is not feelin' happy.

    Please help.
    Cheers!
    Dave

JK, I know it’s like 50k or so. Is there a link where we can donate to aid your area?

Hey take that back!! It cost a lot of money to hunt Africa and the money goes back into conservation of the animals and the community..

LOL. sorry for delay in getting back here, but when I posted was traveling and we got off grid. Anyhow, back to reality. I'll check on the aid links with my wife. We will be going to the cyclone area in about two weeks to help with some building projects there.

BTW, there are lots of hunting lodges and parks around but I am not into any of that down here. So can't help too much in finding. We've seen several animals that clearly had been previously attacked by a cat. They get some pretty serious scars.

    Cheers!

    Wo
wondering if I can use cruise controls from a toyota donor vehicle? I might be able to find a dead Surf/4R, in a junkyard here that had cruise. Just don't know what it means from the computer side. Would I need a new one? But, if that's not a good idea, then I'd go aftermarket. I'll check out the Rosta offering.

    Thanks for the suggestion.
    Cheers!

May be able to. You would need the harness engine ecu cruise ecu and all parts under the hood. It could work though. Might be cheaper option and it would have to match your engine.
