Has anybody put 3.0 coilovers with remote res. On front and rear of 5Th gen with kdss. What was involved? I know TC makes a LCA that works for the front, what about the rear? Did the length of travel (ext. and compressed) change? Thanks in advance.

Contact Matt over at MCM Fabrication. He has a 3.0 coilover kit he developed for 5th gen 4runner. Check his Instagram he has pics of them installed on his wife's 4runner.

Thanks, will look into it. I saw a post about it, probably yours but thought it was for ADS. Was also curios about Fox and King.

Spoke with King today, they have them for the Tacoma and Gx. Not doing one for the 4Runner is what I was told.

The GX is the same platform so I'd imagine they would work.

Funny thing is I asked if it would work, he told me it would not. He said everything was different. Not sure if I was speaking with the right person but he didn't seem super helpful.

After a lot of time thinking, I've deciding to stay with 2.5's. I feel like the T4r is really not a great platform for all out dessert blasting. I'm thinking Fox all around with the Tundra rear. Anybody running this setup? I have Kdss so was wondering if stock Fox valving is good, or revalve.

    Thanks

Kdss has nothing to do with shock valving or spring rates. Standard valving will be fine.
