2nd row seat won't go down

i have a 2016 limited. i went to fold down the smaller seat and realized it wont fold down. saw a few videos on youtube on the fix. the problem im having is getting the plastic cover off to expose the cable that has come loose. i have already removed the one screw on the housing between the seats but the plastic housing will not come apart.
