It's time to correct the mistakes of the previous owner of my truck.

The Helo wheels and Chinese tire setup is vibrating me to pulling my hair out.
I'm installing my Eibach lift in the next few days and bought OEM TRD Off-road wheels (which I think looks great) for my classic silver rig. Haven't landed on the brand yet but I want to run 255/75/17 but also want a poke of 1.25" spidertrax spacers. I've lived my adult life condemning spacers and believed negative offset after market wheels were the only logical choice. However, after extensive research I've concluded they are a viable option if done correctly.

If anyone knows what trimming is needed with this tire setup and spacer I'd appreciate your experience and pictures.

    Thanks.

late bump to help the search function.

Not much trimming is needed, if any. Maybe a small front fender trim.

For skinny 32s very minimal trimming will need to be done, even with the spacers.

If you step up to 255/80/17 (33" tall) the spacers will mean you may need to push the front fender liners forward, trim the bumper, and potentially remove the front mud flaps (or use a heat gun to mold them back)
For the record I'd recommend the skinny 33s even with the trimming required. Simply because you'll have a decent increase in sidewall height over the stock size.

Regardless of my opinion there are a ton of threads on this tire size. Use google to locate them as it works much better than this sites search function.
