Give it some time before you wanna decide on PRO grill. I had it for a few weeks. I think I like the non PRo grill now. Once I put the Victory 4x4 bumper I think I will remove the Pro grill garnish.

I have the Taco Vinyl coming. As soon as I install it I'll let you know. You can see it in person when I'm down in ABQ. I'd like to check out your Eibach kit

    Welcome to the forum!
Being that the cheap versions are not available now, I would consider making my own. I looked into doing mine with various materials, turns out perforated aluminum sheet is much cheaper than plastic... woulda done it, if I had a somewhat local source. Shipping prices have been the deal-breaker for me, but in Cali you have more local suppliers and probably much better shipping rates.
Minus shipping, the material I *thought* I would need was ~$80, including paint.
Good luck staying distracted until your Venture is ready!

I tried to do the same, but I decided to modify mine (and the scoop). Both look nice, the non pro has that classic look that I can understand people liking, but for me after days of study I have concluded the pro version looks the best if you wan that aggressive look.

One of the problems I have is also the chrome, which as some has said already should have been blacked out on the venture edition (since all the rest of the chrome was). I'm also replacing the scoop with the pro blacked out version (which I also think should have been blacked out), I think it will compliment the whole look pretty good.

I know its a different topic but I noticed online the venture has a black rear valance but they don't sell it like that...I think that would look good to...

Right on if you like it then get the Pro, someone like me not liking after few weeks then a waste of time doing all the work because I was in a hurry fell in love at first sight then not liking at the end. So I just wanna point out to people to give it sometime before pulling a triggered like me and changed their mind. Give it sometime that you know that is what you want by all means Pro looks damn good, that's exactly what I want in the beginning.

I have been on the fence about getting a XP Package with the Pro Grill from a dealer down south. I am not handy to put in a grill like that. My concern is though buying a new 4R have shipped up to Michigan and then have an issue and no dealer want to help out. I have never put this much though into buying a car/truck but it is sort of fun.

I am thinking of staying with a stock Silver ORP, just need to pick a running board. I need a running board when I take my father out. I am torn between the OEM black board that has all the ovals near the top; or the one with anodized aluminum trim. I only saw one at a dealer with the ovals on the board and maybe its just me but it did not seem as strong/stiff as the anodized aluminum board. Decisions decisions.

I'm not at all a mechanic either and live in a complex with no garage but if you did want to do it yourself its pretty easy. Just youtube a few installs, its not big deal. I think the major thing is people overlook to tape the lower area so they don't damage the paint when pulling the top grill out. The rest is just pushing a few plugs in, and maybe 12 max screws max, but if you can just get it how you want it go for it! I think the 2 parts it was 345 total...so only 145 bucks more than the knock off brand, you just have to find a toy parts dealer that hasn't been raided like the links posted on here have been.

Yea, that's pretty much why I didn't go through all that hassle of hunting down a pro half way across my state...I figured why make the extra effort for a higher car payment...and for what, shocks and skid plate?

I have the preadator tubes, so those wont work for you're pop but they are solid. If your worried you can always install those later too real easy (real easy, its just a few screws under all the cars come with pre-drilled holes for sidesteps). Just good to know stuff for you if you want to hold up and shop around.

I got mine from cartrimhome. Looks great! My honest opinion is that ALL of these aftermarket kits are pretty much coming from the same source so they are all pretty much the same. The MOST important thing I think with installing any of them, including to hem version, is to make sure it is warm/hot out. The 3m tape that holds the garnish on needs to make good contact and the cold inhibits this.

So those are 33" tires? Do you need any mods to allow them to fit?

Correct, I removed the front mud flaps and did some very minor trimming in the front. But they misconception is that taller tires rub when really its the width and offset that play a much bigger factor. These are a little more that 33" tall but are more narrow than stock (255mm vs 265mm). But narrow tires do better in almost every situation off road, exception would be when flotation is a factor, very deep sand or mud.

Yea I can also confirm, I just installed the parts straight from a Toy parts dealer. Fits 2021 Venture Edition. I put some before and after pics for anyone riding the fence....tomorrow I replace the stock scoop with the pro model black one. For me its no question which I prefer, not even a hint of regret.

I installed the Taco Vinyl yesterday and can't recommend it. It is really hard to install the upper grill because it really doesn't fit correctly. Once forced in to position it looks okay but I'd recommend buying the OEM so you have a nice fit.

Would be interested to hear about your scoop install and how easy/difficult it is to remove the insulation under the hood.

Sure I just installed it last night, I'll attach an image of the after below. I'll add the part number but it was under $60 total for the pro scoop.

The install is easy, you will need:
    1 - the pro scoop (P#: 76183-35080)
1 - scoop protectors/seals I just order 2x on all just in case but you only need 2 of one of these...they $2 rubber gaskets so no biggie (P#: 76185-35030 76183-35040 76183-35030)

    1 - 10mm socket wrench
1 - pair of needle nose pliers
1 - bed sheet/tarp/what-have-you to cover the engine area so you don't let shit fall down in there, lol
...maybe a step stool or chair if you are on the shorter side or have a few spines fused. : )

The firewall plug removal is easy, you just have to pull it a bit to get a grip with the needle noses. Crush the stem and pull out, it might be a little tough at first but once you realize its not hurting anything its not a big deal. Once the firewall is done (I left the last row in the firewall insulation, it can take you bending it down quarter down the way to give you clearance), you will see the scoop screws and 3 bunny ear tabs (2 blue one large center red) that you will also need to use the pliers on.

Do the lug nuts first than the plastic tabs. For plastic tabs, just push all the way up with the needle noses open all the way until you hit he hood, crunch, push again, you should hear it pop out (if you want to resell, you can always replace the plastic tabs!). Pull the scoop forward, up and out and thats it!

There is a tiny grill insert in your original grill, but just press the 4 tabs on it an it comes out easy enough. Install the old grill in your new scoop and reverse the instructions and you should be good. One note...I tightened the bolts, lowered the hood, and did a little fist smack on each tab area to get those pushed in, then I tightened the bolts a little bit more and reinstalled the firewall and plugs.....done and done! Easy, easy.

Loos great and thanks for the instructions. Question ... are those N-fab nerf bars you have installed?

Like the finish product! Do you have a link for the lights you added to the top grille? Thinking about this as an option for my new TRD ORP...thanks!

I hadn't come across that site before, but that looks legit with all of those reviews especially with photos. I bought the TacoVinyl one a while back and have left to put it on because I've also heard it wasn't that great. I was trying to support a small business so I'm sad that it didn't work out well for others.

Let us know if you decide to get it and how it goes.

I ended up going with Cartrimhome's option. Pricings was basically the same but more reviews of what I can expect during install. I'm a fairly handy person and have the tools to do some minor custom work to fill the gap left on the sides. So not worried about it.

Just finished the installation of the Cartrimhome TRD grille on my 2021 SR5P 4Runner. Paid about $185 shipped with a 5% coupon from the dude on Youtube. Overall the install went smoothly. Being in western WA, it's about 50 degrees outside, so I used a heat gun to keep the plastic warm and to help mold the black front piece (where the letters go on) over the piece that stays on the car. I also replaced all the tape that came preinstalled with actual 3M automotive double sided tape. The stuff the grille comes with is pretty cheap stuff. Barely a gap on the sides. Would recommend!
