I'm rocking G2s. Really surprised they said they discontinued them... because they're also up for the stock tires for some new GMC trucks.

Those FN wheels are on my short list for when I decide to switch out my wheels. I told my wife this truck wasn't going to be like my Wrangler where I did a whole lot too it and drove her nuts. :) So I have to pace my modifications.

I was just doing some research in this forum and have seen some people mention that with the factory tire size, they have had some minor rubbing with the TRD pro wheels, and from what I have read it only seems to be at full lock when hitting a bump. It also seems to be isolated to the mud flap. (from my reading... I can't speak from experience)

I decided to cancel my wheel order not just because of the rubbing, but for a couple of other issues as well. Mostly, the Off Road wheels are pretty capable in their own right, and are a little wider than the TRD wheels.

I did order my tires today, they should be in next week. I went with the Toyo Open Country AT3's. I stuck with the P rated 265/70R17 stock size. Once they are on I'll follow up with how they run/look, etc.

Not a single rubs , i will try tomorrow harder every angle to see any rubs. I tried couple hard turn and back up full turn no rubs. I also added TRD exhaust. I dont know but the car is smoother not lazy on gas like before. NOt sure the wheel or exhaust but big different.

Those wheels definitely look good. Mine shipped with the Duelers, so I was riding on highway tires.

I got the Toyo AT3's on yesterday. They look really good. I'd say they are about 10% louder than the stock Duelers that were on it and ride pretty close to the same. Maybe slightly rougher, but that's me who was paying a lot of attention before and after for comparison purposes. My wife couldn't tell a difference in the ride at all, but she did pick up on the noise. The noise increase is minimal though.

I'm pretty pleased with my choice. I'll get some pictures up soon, the weather has been horrible here in Ohio and the truck is a mess. Once I get it cleaned up, I'll snap a few.

Here are some photos. Not the best day for good pictures, but the best it's going to be for a few days. These are the p-metric tires in the standard load rating. They are also in the 265/70 R-17 size.

I have my RSG sliders ordered and I'll have those on in a couple months when they come in.

Personally, I think the OR wheels are excellent and under rated. I really like the little notch that the valve stem nestles in, among other things. Good choice, BGraham!

Thanks! I'm leaning towards getting the OR wheels powder coated in a matte black to finish out the blackout theme I'm going for. Still have a few things to decide there.

Thanks for the post! I've been looking at the KO2s and both the Ridge and Terra Grapplers. I have the magnetic gray with stock rims and now I have an idea what it will look like. Are you still at stock height?

Seems like all beefy AT/MT tires can be a bear to balance on these 4Runners (possibly all trucks). That said, despite the balancing issues (hard to get perfect apparently), my Wildpeaks in stock size were great. If you aren't doing anything hard core, I suggest P rated tires.. they drive much nicer and save you money. I'm now on C rated 275 Wildpeaks because I go off-roading in the bush a lot. That said, never had a puncture with my P rated 265's aired down either...
