Long story short my drls just randomly stopped working. Have checked fuses, bulbs and wires no breaks in wires, no blown fuses, and bulbs were ruled out by switching bulbs out. High beams work so stumped. Anything else I should check ? This happened on our Wyoming trip and took until now so I could diagnose. I still need to check voltage on the wire With the switch turned on.

Also to add I took my bulbs and put them in my wife’s 21 and they worked fine.

Might sound dumb but did you check the interior fuse box?

Yes. Pulled every fuse out and visually checked then had a buddy go behind me and check as well.

Visual is not always conclusive. Swap the fuse with one that you know it works or get a multimeter.

    Parking brakes off?
Both bulbs checked? (It seems they work in series)

I second not relying on visual inspection. I’d use a circuit tester on each one to make sure everything is working as it should.

The issue is there isn’t a dedicated fuse for the drl lights. I’ve read it could be an ign fuse and swapped those around with no change. I’m digging out my multi meter now to check at the socket. If it’s in the stalk I’ll have to take it to the dealership

Could be a bad relay or signal socket.

Echoing kmeeg - parking brake is a possibility. Depress/release a few times. Could be that switch. Make sure the pedal comes all the way up and doesn’t bind or stop short.

Any info or update on this? My drl just stopped working. When switched to drl no light. Switch it again to one where the orange sidemarkers come on and it works. Trying to figure out what's wrong

People often overlook that after engine start, the emergency brake has to be released for the DRLs to come on. Try that first before you tear into everything.

I'll try that. But my e brake is usually never on. I have an aftermarket remote start and this happened before. I remember taking it to the dealership and the tech saying a wire was loose and he pushed it back in. I'm gonna look at it tomorrow again

Ah, the old remote start. There have been so many problems reported with that. Personally, I'm very glad I have a 2019.

Did you check the light stalk? Mine has DTRL off as an option.

Mine ended up being corroded wiring in the drl fuse. I unfortunately sold the black 4R a little bit after this. So I can’t provide you much more on that one. The red 21 has yet to have this problem. But if it does I’ll report back.
