2016 toyota 4 runner premium parking assist stopped working

the vehicle has 1400 miles on it . suddenly when backing up in reverse the parking assist beeper does not beep. camera works. also before if you got into the red zone brake would come on .

I inspected the rear bumper I can see no sensors or wires.
is this all sensed threw the camera mounted on the rear hatch ? perhaps wiring in the rear hatch ?

 

yes under warranty. I did read the manual manual is a problem since it does not accurately show MY vehicle and the switches/sensors as stated and pictured.

I think I will wait till more stuff fails rather than kill a day at the dealership for just one failure.

 

Per toyota, parking assist only comes equipped in the Limited trim. See circles on bumper? If yours is a limited then those should be the sensors.
