I don't know if these things are made out of tempered glass or crystal or some material that breaks instantly upon the slightest vibration but there has to be a better way. mine finally came off yesterday and i saved it thinking i could re-attach it but not looking good. some really cheap plastic tabs broke off of it that have to slide into slots into the plastic bumper. i really don't want to spend 150$ for some cheap plastic piece only to have it break again.

anyone found a decent way to make it better?

random online pic to show what part i am talking about.

I cracked mine off roading last year and replaced it with a used one off marketplace for like $25. It's pretty easy to find and replace it, always guys trying to get rid of the silver ones after swapping to the black valances.

Mine was ripped off off-roading. I bought stainless screws which had black painted heads and then simply screwed it in. Spaced them out in a nice symmetrical pattern.
