Owned a 2006 Tacoma, then a 2011 Tacoma. I needed a bigger towing rig so I bought a Silverado, which has been a good truck, but I certainly miss my Toyotas. My wife needed a new vehicle so I suggested a Tacoma, she declined but said she always wanted a 4Runner.

She said it must be magnetic grey, and nice. So I went for Trail Premium to get the delicious off road goodies for me and the creature comforts for her.

These things are made to work, so with 100 miles on it we jammed it in 4LO and I let her drive through some ditches and around a vacant lot near her father's house in the country. I wanted her to drive it off road first, and I saw the look in her eye, she liked it :) It's her vehicle, but she already has approved the hidden winch and possibly the BFG KO2's, and of course the blacked out emblems (she actually said she wanted all the chrome gone without me bringing it up).

Glad to be back in a Toyota. Time to go pull some Jeeps out of their holes.

    KO2s first man,

Oh and Congrats on the TEP.

Wife and I may be trading in my Tacoma for one of those also, just different color.

They had a TRD Pro in Quicksand at the lot too, I wanted it so bad, but she hated the color and it's her vehicle. If it was mine I'd be driving that around instead. I do dig the MGM though, it's good looking.

    2011 Tacoma - Silver
    2011 Silverado - Silver

So yea, I'm with you on the silver. I'm actually not buying them on purpose, it just worked out that way.
