    Hello,
I am new to this forum. I have some mechanical experience on old MB diesel.
I bought the truck last year and added about 10000 miles on her . Last month, we parked the truck in garage and everything is fine. We came back on last weekend, we found the truck won't move no matter which gear it is on.
The truck was started right away. But tried all gears, it just did not move at all.
If I put the 2/L gear, and press gas pedal, it only moved about 2-3cm.
Tried other gear, even 'N', no movement at all, so can it be towed it?

Seems the wheels are dragged by something. I searched around, some threads says e-brake malfunctioning? I checked the floor, did not seems there is any fluid on the floor, so no trans fluid was leaking, by the way, where can I find the trans dipstick?

    any help is appreciated.

My 2002 Chev. Duramax with Allison trans. will do this sometimes. Have to let it run for a couple of minutes and get the torque converter filled back up. It seems they will drain into the pan if they sit for a period of time.

That's what you get for being cheap and getting the SR4 instead of the SR5.

    SR5 typo.
Called mechanic , told me it is brake frozen he suggested to try to shift to d and r to unfreeze it.

Thank you all for help. Will try it. And report it back.

Tried today and she finally moved. Will drive to mechanic to see which caliper with issues. Avoid towing , a good result.

    Thank you all for help.

I want to travel and camp and will do Mod's necessary to do this with a 4runner.
Please report back what you mechanic says was a probable cause. That way, we all will gain here.
    Thanks,

Exact like Ront4r mentioned it is brake frozen. I shifted to lowest gear gas pedaling , she reluctantly moved couple centimeters , then shifted to R , moved another couple cm , then again, then she moved like should be. Definitely need drive to mechanic to check which caliper piston is frozen.
