    Hi folks,
My father has a 2003 4Runner limited with the 4 ltr 1GR-FE V6 and he wants to replace the engine connecting rod bearing, but we can not find the correct ones to use. We had bougth some but they weren´t the correct size. The engine is in good conditions the only thing that we wanto to replace are the rod bearings. So, my questions are, has anyone ever done this replacement and if so which was the rod bearing used in it ? Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

In the image you can see the original rod bearing and the only thing written in it is 3C02U or 3CO3B in another one of the bearing but we don´t know what that means.

    Go to PARTSOUQ.COM

Put in your vin (important). Find the Crankshaft and Piston Diagram and see what part numbers are shown. For the 3rd gen 3.4L, there are a whole bunch of part numbers but there is a part number for a complete set.

Also, if I ever have questions on parts, I just call or go to the parts counter at the local dealer and ask them. They will also need your VIN but should be able to provide exactly what part number/kit you need. Even if you don't buy it there, get the part number and you can use it to find it online and maybe a discount.

    Hi
Thanks for the help, I am gonna see if I find the part in that page. My father went to the local dealer with the VIN (JTEBU17R308006167) but the rod bearing that they gave to him were not the correct ones.

In any case I will update if i find something.
