    ****** BEGINNING STAGES *****
I've read alot about swapping auto trans to manuel trans however, haven't stumbled across my case yet, it might be out there but I haven't seen it yet..... any links would be awesome.
    MANUEL TRANNY SWAP
    1997 limited 4runner 4x4 automatic

    Donor vehicle
    1997 TACOMA 4x4
    Parts I have
    clutch pedal
    Master cylinder
    Slave cylinder
    Manuel Transmission
    Manual ecu
    Engine harness
    Transfer case
    Fly wheel
    Clutch/pressure plate
    front drive shaft

Does anyone on here know if the engine harness from the 97 TACOMA is compatible with my 97 4runner as long as I use the trans and manuel ecu along with it....... good links on this job would be greatly appreciated. I am just trying to make things go as smooth as possible and as little down time as possible.
    Thanks in advance!

I really just want everything to work with no cel.......and reverse lights lol

I've been considering this job on mine too. Is it necessary to do the 4x4 conversion using the R150F?
