1996 t4r 2wd spindle assembly

    1996 Toyota 4runner
    2.5" lift 33"tires
    I have a 1996 2wd t4r that needs the left front spindle assembly replaced. My local wrecking yard has only one 4runner and it is a 2001 4wd. will this spindle assembly work? It looks like the 2wd has a dust cover where the cv axle would go and that is the only difference. Any help much appreciated.
