I bought a set of these 16" wheels that you see on the older tacomas and some fj cruisers, there 16x 7.5 6 lug with 10 mm offset black with the outer ring. i have a 06 4 runner sport 4.7 that i want to put them on, I kno there are thousands of after market wheels but these are the wheels i like. my 4runner has stock 6 spoke 17" wheels, the new 16" ones rub the front brake caliper . my question is can i go with a smaller rotor, im not going to run huge tires or anything, but i am guessing mine being a sport , it proub. has larger frt. brakes. are there a difference between the 06 sport and the 06 non sport? any advice would be much appreciated .

16" rim should fit. I know 15" rims will rub the caliper.

they wont work one the frt. they hit the top & bottom side of caliper, they work fine on the back. the caliper on the sport model must be a different size than sr5 model, im just hoping the smaller brake set up will bolt on to my sport, thanks for the reply. the brake calipers on this thing are huge,
