After reading numerous posts about LED vs. H11 to H9 conversion, I have decided to go with the H9 option. I have the OEM LED fog lights and wanted to find the “whitest” H9 halogen bulb to try to get as close to the color of the LED fog lights as I can. Can someone suggest a good option for a white H9 halogen bulb? Thanks in advance.

I was actually looking at these on Amazon earlier tonight. One concern I had was that the picture of the package shows “H10” instead of “H9” although the ad says “H9”.

I received the correct H9's even though the product picture shows H10.

I use the mid level Silverstars myself. Brighter bulb means shorter life. Clean with alcohol if you touch the glass. I changed foglights to a hot amber/yellow bulb and they are much better. You don't get the bright white feedback from reflections like LEDs. I was going to try a BrightBox that allows you to operate all your lights at the same time and fog with the button, all at the same time. I use halogen headlights and LED bulbs in about everything else. I was shocked when I replaced turn signals and they still had 1156As. I guess they are cheaper and easier to find, but I replaced with LEDs and wired a resistor so DRLs and signal works as it should.
