I’m almost due for the 15k mile service on my ’24. I looked up the recommended actions, and that list is easily something I can tackle on my own. My dealer’s service department isn’t open on Saturdays, so getting over there for a service will cost me a half-day off work… I’m not up for that, for a service this light.

What I don’t know, though, is how to deal with the propeller shaft. The service list says it should be lubricated, and the prop shaft bolt should be re-torqued. So the questions are natural: what lubricant, and how much torque?

    Thanks, all.

The vikings garage has the best video on this one. He has the spec there on the grease.
