I’m currently swapping mine to the Entune 3.0 but it looks like the hazard switch from my 2017 doesn’t fit the same as the new radio bezel. Has anyone had the same problem? The dealership sells the hazard button but no cable for it..

2010-2019 switch is latching. 2020-2024 is momentary so doesn’t matter if you can get the switch. If you have access to a 3D printer, I can send a file to print an adapter to make your current switch fit.

Thank you I’m in the same boat as well as it looks like my unit is a JBL
I have a 2017 TRD PRO and wanted to upgrade to the OEM that has CarPlay but also would love to have gps on its own. is the retrofitting from a new model and purchasing the harness the solution here?

attached are the pictures of what I have as the radio has a number of 510140 in the middle. What is the best HU for me to purchase and if it would require a wire harness to upgrade?

thank you in advance for your help

That's a non JBL unit. So you in luck.
Get a 2020+ head unit with built in navigation. A $20 GPS receiver , a harness and you are all set if you want the OEM look.
Pick the speakers of your choice also. Infinity, JBl, Kenwood etc.

When I search it looks like it is a JBL unit but I did find a HU from a 2024 TRD Pro that I can pick up for the upgrade of suitable with model number 86100-35668

is this a good one to swap with and will it require a harness and if so which one? Thank you again for your quick feedback

What is the GpS receiver for as my current unit does have navigation on the unit itself. Do I need to purchase a seperate unit to make it work with the 2020+ HU?

If it was a JBL unit, it would have JBL branding on the faceplate. Look pic for reference.
If you already have navigation, so you already have the antenna. The head unit you get needs to have the navigation module with it. The harness will make the navigation work on your new head unit provided the new unit comes with the navigation module at the bottom.

Thank you that’s great what is the part number of the harness that I need for my upgrade as I want to make sure I’m getting the right parts to finish this upgrade. He will be super excited!

I have a 2019 TRD Pro with JBL and would like to upgrade for Android Auto with an OEM unit. I have found a couple I think are the newer equivalent, but I am unsure what harness I need. Any help is appreciated!

Is this just for car play or are there other features you get upgrading to the 3.0?

Looking into it a bit more, the CD player goes away for a larger more "responsive" screen. The Beat Sonic set up can add carplay to the 2.0 entune systems, not that i'm a huge fan of CarPlay.
