Batting 500

I have done 2 mods to my new 2018 SR5 Premium. I added grey TRD wheels at the dealer and then ordered and installed some NFab Nerf Steps. The wife loves the wheels, hates the steps, says she is going to "break her neck with those things". I guess I will have to order in some regular running boards and put the NFab's for sale on the Marketplace forum.

 

wanna buy my old ones? or you could go with some opor steels.

Anybody have any experience with the Tyger brand below off Amazon?

 

my neighbor x the street has them. they look nice, stick out a little more than he wanted. imo they're more for looks not use. I go off roading he dont so, they work fine for him. also, I dont think they'd survive a side impact. mine have tho, car ran into me on a turning lane, cars fender destroyed as my runner's tire rolled over the cars fender and headlight. poor college girl.

 

We are not going off road. We purchased the truck so we can tow a couple of motorcycles with us when we go on vacation (besides the fact they are cool looking and built well).
I am just trying to give the wife something to step on when she gets in the truck. I thought the NFab's would work and still look decent.

 

FYI just a heads up... I have been waiting for my OPOR (Metal Tech) sliders for 5 months.

Excuses after excuses! Its ridiculous... $1000, 0% interest loan basically.

 

Well that sucks. I am not sure I could wait that long. You have a lot more patience then I do.

 

sux bout opor'rs. i must a been luck then. I've had mine for almost 3yrs and they're great but no way, I wouldn't pay 1k for them.

 

I'm REALLY happy with my RSG sliders. I believe they have next day shipping.

 

what do the RSGs look like installed? how far does the kick out go?

I have these on my Pro. They work great. Easy getting in and out.

 

I have the RSG sliders (flat) and I love them!! I will get a good pic tomorrow in daylight. Being super short & only hitting 4’10” my sliders are my BFF! Plus I’m in love with how RSG’s sliders look.

 

The kick out on the rsg sliders look way better in person. The kick out isn’t as exaggerated as some of the pictures make it seem. I have never measured so I’d have to get some measurements tomorrow after work.

thanks, they look grr8. I'm good with mine tho. I was wondering bout the kick out cause it seems to stick out a little past the tire, I was wondering how far. mine huge the the body pretty tight but still has enough to get a good step when wearing high heels.....I mean when my wife wears high heels bahahaha.
