RCI skids Eibach stage 2 leveling kit

I have 23 ORP with KDSS. My leveling kit consists of Eibach stage 2 leveling kit. Very happy with it. Stock UCA and no Dr KDSS. Also have RCI skids. I live in salt prone area and Eibach made it through first winter with no rust.

    DOBINSON IMS shocks only
Hello everyone just joined! So got the wife a 2022 4Runner SR5. She had to have a 3rd and I wanted it to have 4WD. Not a lot to pick from but found one. Anyways so I have two questions: 1st so I installed DOBINSON IMS shocks only no springs to firm up the suspensions. Since they are adjustable I figure I could go ahead and take some of the rake out - was sitting at 19.5 front and 21.75 in rear. So the recommended setting of the rings is at 213mm / 8.38 inches. From what I read moving the rings is a 2:1 ratio I set the rings at 9 inches and to give me roughly 1 inch of rake. Now it is sitting at 22.5 on all four. So that put me at 3 inches of lift in the front which from everything I read should have UCA added. So 1st question when I take them out and adjust the rings down, I’m assuming I should get a new top nut since they have been used? I figure I will cut the adjust down by half. Fingers crossed this works not looking to do it a 3rd time. So 2nd questions anyone purchase DOBINSON IMS shocks and have their rings and lower spring collar have scratch marks on them pre install? Got them from exit off road is this normal? I figured if I’m spending roughly $1300 they shouldn’t be scratched up unless the have been used. This was the case on both front shocks. The first one was worse and wish I would have taken pictures of them but when noticed it on the second as well I took the photos. Anyways any thoughts would be welcome and thanks.
