    Hi everyone. I just picked up a new 4Runner Limited. It has a lot of chrome which I hate but that will be a post for another day. I live in NJ. I bought it in Pennsylvania. In PA you don’t need a front plate. In NJ, you do. But the sales guy did me a solid and didn’t drill holes in the bumper. Can anyone recommend a bracket that attaches to either the plastic or underneath somehow? Thanks so much.

    Just slip the front one under the back one so they are technically both “On” the car, that’s what I did, I don’t run a front license plate. Welcome to the forum.

    Welcome from Sussex County! I bought my 4R in PA, too. I let them drill the bumper for the regular front plate installation. At least they did it well.

    Welcome from Wisconsin! If you don't run a front plate, and don't have provisions for it on the vehicle, just see how long you can get away without front plate, you might never get bothered, and if you do tell the cop "it didn't come with it". A dealership in your state (NJ) would have an answer.
