Hey guys, I've been scouring the internet and forums and just can't seem to find an answer to this question. I'm preparing to do the dreaded knock sensor/pigtail replacement but noticed that the previous owner had butchered the connectors and cut them out, splicing them together. Since I'm replacing the pigtail from the sensor, I'd like to also replace the original connector on the harness side that plugs into the pigtail, basically I want to do it right. I have the FSM and have been all through it and have found the page that shows all the different types of connectors, but since I'm missing the connector I have no real frame of reference to tell which one is missing and if it is indicated in the FSM it's unclear to me. If I knew someone with a 2nd gen I'd ask to pop their hood and take a look, but sadly I don't. Does anybody have any insight? If so I'd appreciate it immensely and thank you in advance.

    Cheers

Try part 82219-35010. This would be the pigtail that connects to the knock sensor. The knock sensor was buried too deep in the engine for me to swap it out.
