Reminds me of a story. Back in little league we had Bobby Mercer come for opening day. My father and another guy and his kid went to pick him up at the airport. We all had lunch at the other guys house and got to spend an hour or two hanging with him before the opening day ceremony. He signed some balls for us. Fast forward 10 years I come home from work and see my brother playing baseball in the yard with his friends. I go out to pitch a few with them and realize I’m throwing Bobby Mercers signed baseball. I saw red and all my brother could say is we couldn’t find any baseballs so I took that one off your dresser out of the case. He was only about 10yrs old then and me about 18. Ha ha
