Light Bar on TRD Pro Rack

I have a 5th gen 4Runner with a TRD pro roof rack and I’m interested to put a Prinsu light bar. Saw this set up and loved it. Anyone know what kind or mount, bar or additional set up it has besides the Prinsu light bar. Or are there any other suggestions?

 

Doesn't a light over the head reduce visibility? all dust and other elements shine in front of you?

In addition wind noise, poor aerodynamics acting like air brakes?

I bet wiring also pain in the a** running along the weather strip on the roof and side of the windshield.

 

I feel like at that far back it's pretty much only for looks. Maybe I'm wrong but I can't imagine getting a ton of useful positioned light out of that.

 

Had a couple of Polaris RZRs and I removed the light bar on the roof on the second one as I learned that the lower the better. Running an 11" LED on the front grill was better than the 30" on the roof.

So ya think the roof rack might be the Toyota PRO rack, with a Prinsu wind fairing bolted on. Then a light bar that folks say is LASFIT.

my first thought before reading was that the PRO rack is way too far back for a light bar. That photo, and the way it’s mounted low, confirmed my suspicion.

I have 3/4 length cargo basket. Even that is too far back for a lightbar (halfway over sunroof).

They did a good job racking that wind fairing and light bar though, I didn’t know that was possible.
But I’m a stickler for my off-road lights being as functional as possible.
13” wide angle light bar lower grille (6000LM)
2x 6” bars in upper grille (1,250LM ea)

 

It’s not, not a pain in the ass lol yes
And expensive! especially to order into Canada
