Thx. I hear ya. Mine was done maybe a year or so ago.

If anyone takes the rocker cap off, this is where it's chopped. Used to have a pinch weld tab or two attached right here. I just sanded black spraypaint off from during bmc

How are you liking it so far?

Me too, but I'm seems like they addressed quite a few little things that bug me about the 5th gen.

If it's the PCS system fault, your options are

    1. Ignore it, and learn to live without cruise control
    2. Find a dealer to "recalibrate" it
    3. Buy a cable, install techstream and reset it yourself

More chopping--replaced the passenger side 3rd row seat with an exorbitantly priced ARB roller drawer.

    PXL_20240410_142433348.jpg

Also put the shelf back in to maximize storage space, which would have to come out to ever use the remaining 3rd row seat. I had to use it once while I was running the 2nd row passenger seat delete--it's tricky to get in from the driver's side but can be done.

    PXL_20240410_142427048.jpg

2nd row fully reclined. My fridge is on the small side, so there's room for the battery too.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.

I've lifted other vehicles and not had issues with the tire sensors. Are you sure one didn't die or get damaged? Did you check the spare tire pressure?

Installed my new smoked Morimoto tails, the stock driver side tail was a PITA to remove, passenger side easy peasy. I was never a fan of the stock tails, but didn't care for any of the aftermarket ones until these ones were released. I love their look and how they function!

Got around cleaning and replacing the timing tentioner cover gasket. Had a leak in the area. If this solves the issues, great
, otherwise it's a leaking timing tensioner gasket. That is labrous, expensive and chances are something else will leak once you get around replacing that.
    Before and after cleaning.

    Bull bar was on beforehand.

It's not the tire sensors. It's the TSS stuff that's gone haywire of sorts. I believe (after doing some reading and watching a view YT vids), it's a matter of the sensors having to be recalibrated. The shop that did my lift said if it doesn't clear out in a few days, reach back out to him and he'll see what he can do. He told me to bring it back in 2 weeks to get things re-torqued. so we'll see by then.

Same. In some comical way, it's like the proverbial nails on the chalkboard.

You sure your brush guard or light isnt interferring with the TSS? from the pic it looks blocked compared to mine

Yes. Cause I have the TSS sensor relocation bracket installed. Before the lift, the sensor was working fine (even after been relocated).

So its the tss sensor? If so it has 4 bolts/screws that mount it to the grill you can put washers between the sensor and mount to aim it downward.

But its abs and traction control warning lights its most likely a wheel speed sensor/wiring.

Had a set of 5100's installed, 0.5" lift to the front. A badly needed improvement over the stock SR5 setup, which I knew when I bought it. I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner!

    This sounds right
Obviously for whatever reason the sensor must not be happy anymore at its current orientation, post lift.

I don't have TSS, but when I lifted and went to 285's, it didn't throw any wheel speed sensors. Perhaps some lines got stretched or something disturbed during lift.
The shop telling you they'll see what they can do, about the dash lights, would seem like a copout to me. It should really be part of the discussion before lift by them.

    Good luck dude

Got the RCI skid plate kit installed. It didn't come with a rear diff skid plate. I had assumed it did. Should I get one?

Also, do I need to get a gap filler for the space between the bumper and engine plate?

Also installed these shovel holders. Saw it in one of Victory 4x4's bumper product photos and thought it was a neat idea. Got them on Amazon for $13. They seem pretty secure but wouldn't necessarily leave the shovel there for a long freeway drive. On the other hand, if it actually did come loose at all, that strap would jump down the notches and not just pop off. It was a tight fit to get the shovel handle in them. Even if the straps broke clean off at the same time (highly unlikely,) the shovel might fall about 1/2" and be held in place anyway... Now that I think about it more, it ain't going nowhere.
