Well I paid off my student loans and my wifes credit card.:annoyed: I never got my raise this year and this month I will finally get it. Plus 7 months of backpay! Also, I am waiting on my tax return! Sooooo, bought my brake controller for the inferno. Probably going to buy my pop up (206stse) before spring break :spending:

How did you rectify the hazard switch not working? Was not working before or after the radio swap?

Is your runner a SR5 premium or base?
What is the 21 radio out of?
Do you have a PT number for it too?

Just put on Dobinson’s adjustable UCA’s for more flexibility with the caster and camber for off-roading and cleaned up the front fenders to cut out the rubbing and creating more space without having to do a viper cut. Front sits at 2.7 and back 2.

This worked! I tried to buy a set of excellent used ones last weekend on FD Marketplace, but the guy wasn't co-operative. With the code, new was only 20 bucks more than he was asking............

    Thanks!

Since the murder of Rebecca Schaeffer (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rebecca_Schaeffer) the actress from My Sister Sam, motor vehicle departments all throughout the United States have stopped releasing information based off of names, addresses, driver's license numbers or vehicle tags.

The only thing that is truly disclosable with a license plate is a VIN. With a VIN, you can find out which plant it was manufactured at, maybe the original sales date and maybe resale listings (if it was at a dealership or if the VIN was disclosed on a commercial resale website like autotrader.com).

They will never be able to trace you back to an address.

When helping people buy used cars, if I can't get the VIN either through a license plate number or directly from the seller, I won't even talk to them...

So, I think I mentioned that somebody let go of a shopping cart and it rolled downhill on sideswiped my white 23 Off-Road Premium...

Part of the determination of the condition of the car was washing the car and then using an acetone wipe down.

My graphene coating, which I did at home protected the car really well. The photo is where the handle of the shopping cart scraped. It scraped the coating, not the paint. After using the chemical wipe down, it completely disappeared. I will need to retreat it though.

I just realized, I was searching on Amazon for the term "Magic Box," but this was the "Smart Box."
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CQT2S22N

So far, not horribly impressed but not too disappointed. To get to wireless Android Auto or Carplay, it does take additional screen taps. If it were cold weather and I need to warm up the car, no problem. But by the time I'm getting Android Auto started, I've crawled a thousand feet.

For $9, a great thing. I don't think I would be too happy at $100. There may be some options so that it starts and connects automatically, I haven't put much mental effort into learning about it. I did try to put a micro SD memory card in it for music and the card slot was bad.

I had a wireless Android auto adapter that worked very well... But stepping over to iOS, I needed to more versatile unit. The one linked has the same number but doesn't look like the one I had ..

Got these 2 drawers of of Etsy. They were marked down due to some issues when printed. However they went in with no issues.

I had bought this Magic Box 2.0 a few weeks back. Finally got to REALLY test this thing yesterday on a small roadtrip. YT played on my screen with no issues using Hotspot. So it's worked as advertised. Need to download a few apps to see how that works. But so far I like it.

My only LEGIT complaint is if you leave it plugged in, it'll kill whatever your source of media is. As in my case, I usually keep it on XM radio. But after start up, it goes straight to the Magic Box. Can always unplug it. But ya now, gotta have something to belly ache about.

The switch that came with the unit was faulty. So I had to retrofit the switch from my old radio unit since the switches and the housing for the two model years are different. So is the harness.I just opened it to see where I can make adjustments to make it work.
I think I have a base but I do have heated seats and sunroof. So who knows.
The 21 radio is out of a 21 4runner with navigation non JBL.

No pictures because I was hella stressed out tearing my dashboard apart, but installed the Accessorides Remote Start w/Override (works great!) & since I was in the mood, ended up also installing the Raptor lights I bought off eBay last November. Was a good 'Runner day!

Ha. Well, longer than I thought it would be. Probably 1hr. Would be a lot faster now that I know how (easy) it really is. Had to cut 1 wire on my 23 TRD ORP which was nerve wracking for me, but all in all, pretty straightforward. Directions they supply you with are OK, I searched YouTube for additional support when I wasn't sure on a step. For example, there is nothing in the directions they give you on removing the driver side panel, which you need to do to access the BCM. Its like whoever wrote the directions had amnesia and just forgot that entire part. Also the directions don't mention a thing about what to do with the little box (remote start module) when you are putting stuff back together. Would've been nice because its right by the passenger airbag, we improvised eventually. But got 'er done, and the thing works as promised!!

Do the drawers work well, I mean do they stay put and not slide out while driving?

Anyone know of a reason why my new style TRD pro wheels required the front hub grease cap to be removed to mount correctly on my 2020 SR5P?

It's been 2 years since I did all this with our 22' Tacoma but if I remember right there were some work arounds on the Tacoma's but not sure with 4Runner. I think they were grinding the hub a little bit since it was a slight angle on the hub bore instead of being straight like the 20' and older. This is from memory but the Tacoma forum has a ton of info on it.

I thought this was a fitting 4runner wheels on a Tacoma issue? From what I understand there have been zero changes in 4runner hubs the entire generation. I have the new style TRD Pro wheels on my 2021 Off Road and they fit with zero issues.

I was actually looking for the new style wheels for my 2011 and was told they are a direct fit other than increased offset but now I am not too sure. Not going to go around modifying hubs.

Without the grease cap they fit perfectly. With it on they could no seat properly according to the tech and what he showed me.
