Aftermarket Rear Bumpers & Parking Sensors

    Hi All,

    I've tried searching and haven't found a ton of info. What's the scoop if one wants to add an aftermarket steel rear bumper for off roading/spare tire carrying etc.. but has rear parking sensors. I've only found one bumper that accomodates them, and it is a "weld it yourself".

    Do you just disconnect them and rely on the camera and your eyes (which is fine). Are there bumpers out there that accomodate? If you do have to disconnect them, does it make the backup camera screen/system/beeps go crazy? Is there some sort of "dummy plug" you would need to use?

    I have a '22 OR for reference. Appreciate any insight!
