    Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum. I have an issue with my 1991 4Runner. I need to replace a cylinder valve, and wanted to ask how much that should roughly cost. My mechanic said it will at least be 2000-2500 USD (I live in the Bay Area, California, so it might be more expensive than usual). Is that a reasonable estimate? If it is, then I will probably need to sell the car, which I'm so not looking forward to..

For people in the Bay Area, does anyone know a good and cheap mechanic?

    Cheers and thanks,
    Stefan
