Did some driving over hundreds of miles of New Mexico roads lately. Mostly unpaved across tribal lands and most of it washboard.

My glove box now has the most irritating squeak. Sure, turn the radio up, but there it is. The constant - eek eek eek eek eek eek eek eek eek eek eek eek eek eek eek eek....

see what I mean. Bleah. At least it didn't come from the factory squeaking, like a Jeep. I like the satisfaction of knowing I made that happen.

Are you sure its you're glove box? Probably your windshield molding if it sounds like two pieces of Styrofoam rubbing. You can verify by pressing down on it, easy fix

Good question. Sounded like it was coming from the glovebox. Can you reproduce the windshield molding squeak while not moving? If that's what it is, what's the fix? Really need to stop this squeak!

Yes it's the cowl that meets the corner of your windshield outside. Press on it and it will make the squeek noise

If it came after dusty roads it's quite possibly your front suspension manifesting itself as interior noise. Mine always is. 10 minutes with a power washer may get it to go away...

It's most likely the windshield cowl if not it could be your splash guards in the wheel well (the ones that attach to your frame) either way you can remedy both by removing them and put clear silicone and replace
