2.5 Fox bypass shock questions

I've got a pair of 2.5 fox triple bypasses that I took off my LT tundra before it went bye bye. I'm Wanting to put them on the rear of my trail. compressed length 16inches , extended is 26 inches center eyelet to eyelet.

First question, is it worth it to get the eyelet style mount switched over to a post style? Or should I just cut the existing mount and build a new one to accommodate the current configuration they're in?

2nd. Has anyone ever dealt with fox on getting shocks revalved? I've heard nightmares of their CS.

If you end up not being able to use those shocks I might take them off your hands.

 

id give down south motorsports a call, they do rebuilds and valving and may be easier to deal with than fox

 

Yeah call up Micah at DSM, he's a good dude and can get your shocks setup real well.
I'd probably ask him about changing over the mount ends on the shocks too and see if he has any insight there for you

 

Thanks for the help guys! Got everything sorted out through fox. Pretty stoked to put these on the rear end plus the support and quite a few hours I spent on the phone with fox. Thankfully, no need for a rebuild and no need to re valve them!

 

@Bob pretty sure the tundra went to some auction lot. Where they go to retire lol.
