Hey all. I’ve been reading a lot to get the lay of the land of the off road premium we are buying. It’s been in transit since February and we got a 6 day window for delivery of March 24-29th. It landed in Long Beach on the 16th and I’m in San Diego.

the deal is my financing is good until the 28th. I really don’t want to have to deal with redoing the loan. How accurate are the date ranges in your experience and what are the odds the car arrives at the early end of the delivery window?

anyone gotten recent deliveries from Long Beach and them been delayed vs on time? Do they typically arrive at the end of delivery window in anyone’s experience or am I crazy to hope the car will arrive before the 29th?

thanks in advance! I’ve been reading up for weeks about all the features and this forum helped me decide what we needed.

From my experience (I'm in Carlsbad) the 4runner was delivered at the early end of the range once the dealership received the transit status. Hope yours does too! It's a great vehicle!

I didn't have to wait for my 4R. But on other Toyota's I bought they were on the early end as well.

I think one even came before.

I was given a date range of March 5-10 and I got mine on the 8th. Good luck on yours.

Thanks! Sounds promising. I’m going to call the dealer on Thursday if it’s not in yet and see if they have an updated eta before asking for a loan extension. I’m sure I can get it as the offer letter says good until March 31st. I dont know why the underwriters put the 28th...it’s their extra work to redo it though.

I’m glad all hope is not lost though as it doesn’t sound like last minute deliveries are the norm.

Its probably the max time frame they can give before it expires. They don't go by months.

Interest rates change all the time and could be better or worse for them.

Hope you get it early, glad we got ours when we did, there is not a ORP anywhere local right now.
Looks like all the dealers have 1 or 2 new 4runners in stock and that's it, no ORPs though.

I was told between 3/8 and 3/15: it showed up on the 15th, so I would say pretty close :)
Now my dealer was too busy with local sales to get a driver to head down 3+ hours to get it from the store they dealer traded it with until the 20th, but for the deal I got, I will never complain. My wife works at the dealership and it was an awesome deal especially since they dealer traded for one.
