What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

Finally got all of my leather seat covers installed. It's easier to install them when its warm/hot but that also sucks because I damn near had a heat stroke putting them in. Truth, the install was not hard and if you didn't know that they were covers, you wouldn't be able to tell. A friend of mine has them in his TRD Pro Tacoma......had no idea, til he told me. So, $500 later, I have leather seats. Judge for yourself.

The day I've been waiting a month for is finally here, install day

 

Did an oil change, broke a bolt, then broke a drill bit in the bolt, fun oil change.

Then put on a bug deflector. I like it a lot. Then spilled two gallons of oil all over the garage and ruined my favorite pairs of shoes.

Yup, best oil change ever, but hey, I really like my bug deflector.

Installed black overlay kit and borrowed a little vinyl from my wife to cover front chrome ribs. The wife makes vinyl decals and heat presses shirts....

It’s a CVT Mt Shasta Summit...
Scored big on it from a guy down in Portland. Paid $1500, only used a handful of times... in perfect shape.

 

On phone W/Toyota 800# see if I can get info on why Pax window Up switch is "Locked " and won't move.

 

Aside from the fogs themselves, did you modify their housing, or is it a white reflection I’m seeing above them?

Got weathertech mats for my rig, I like the deep sidewalls of them over the stock factory. I fly fish a lot and often drive with waders and boots that bring a lot of crud and water into the car

 

What size alternator did you go with? And what battery are you using under the hood? Any extra batteries?
