I haven't been able to find this EXACT problem yet, so forgive me if this has already been covered in some other way.

My rear hatch lock stopped working one day. It just wouldn't open, made no noises when I hit unlock, nothing. I disconnected the battery and the door started working again. Then, the rear window would not go down with the key (either way, the button on the key or using the physical key). A few days later the window started working again, then both stopped again. A battery disconnect got them working again, but then they both stopped over time.

Important to note is that the window button in the center console has NOT stopped working. I've read that this may be a relay issue but in those cases, I don't believe it was working through the center console either. I've read the relay is upwards of 400 dollars so I want to be sure before I spend that money. Is there any other thing it can be? How can i test the relay if that's the likely culprit? Of anyone knows of a solution to this problem, is there like a dummy how to guide for fixing it?

    Thanks in advance!!

A few things here and there. Still dreaming up stuff
Test that module in the back of the hatch and see if it is good. Also just because it works sometimes doesn't mean it is good. I had that same issue with my 99.
