    Somewhat stock.
So you post it on the 4Runner forum? It's like an easter egg then?

For anyone that didn't know we will be at Shamrock Shakedown this year. If you are going swing by and say hello.

Also just announced and it appears as though we will be headed to the great state of Texas for the Lone Star Toyota Jamboree will know 100% here within a little bit.

@Thatbassguy second post first page shows the in progress prototyping of it. This one ended up being a dual swingout with a ladder on the DS and tire carrier on PS. I'll dig up some of the completed pics.

No I run this here he doesn't have an account and I can answer all your questions so I'll break them down.
Weight ~65-80 lbs depending on options choosen
Modifications - relocation of the washer fluid resivior would be best. I know @Trident904 got a skid for it of sorts.
installation, you'll have to talk to eddy about installing winches and lights etc with the bumper, there are adapter harnesses that you can get for the aftermarket pods to make them plug and play with the factory fog light switch
No additional cutting welding or drilling required that's why we say they are bolt on.
If you take a look at any of our sliders with top plated that's what they'll look like just a different size. All of our sliders are pretty much the same from the square tube to the outside pf the round tube its just a difference in lengths
Here is a pic of mine only thing different is the length and you aren't going to get the SOS logo mine are the one and only.

@Snickel Fritz some of the in progress pics for the rear are on the first page here. Here is a finished pic

Also we changed it to a single swingout on this one if you wanted a half single swingout this is what it would look like just not attached. Waiting to get it back from PC to install

Gotcha. So did you select pick up? Fogs just pick whatever aftermarket pod you want to go with. If you want an SAE pod either the Diode Dynamics or either of the Rigid industries are the best out there. As far as timelines what do you need to know?

Definitely PC. Dual swing outs and no ladder would be bangin. Would want dual jerry can holders on the driver side swing out.

Always gotta be different switching the location of stuff I like the Idea though. I never understood why the tire carrier always ended up on the passenger side.

Hey pretty nice! Rugged, I love the ladder. Best looking full bumper I’ve seen yet. How much does it weigh? And if it’s +200 lbs in steel, can you get it in aluminum?

Oh as that one sits it's every bit of 240 lbs. She's stout for sure. I am not sure about the aluminum question. I'll talk to Eddy and see. The hitch is the main reason we don't do aluminum on the others to have that strength. Our hitch is integrated in all the other bumpers and I think this one too but not 100% sure. Aluminum would be $$$$$$ though just to warn you before you get sticker shock.

Start a conversation in my side bar is how you do the conversation thing.

Just order some Exhaust clamps IDK what size the factory fogs are to tell you what size to get. Now as far as how far out yours is I'll check on that and get a rough estimate I know you'll be coming from a good clip away. If you give me your order # I can talk with Eddy and give you a rough estimate. Now for installs we typically do them on Sat. and arrange that once we send out the email when it's ready for pickup. But in your case so you can do some preplanning I can try and give you a rough estimate.

I like the bumper but it’s too heavy for me in steel. Everything adds weight, the problem is keeping it under control. There are a few aluminum bumpers out there. One weighs 66lbs.

Yeah even in aluminum we won't be able to get it that low for sure. But we are also a full replacement. I only know of one other manufacturer doing a full replacement. My guess it would be at least 150 depending on options. Just the steel rear no swingouts is around 150

For sure - 150 is better than 240.

So we can do the bumper in aluminium with no swingouts that would be around 130 give or take weight wise approximately.

It should be possible to design a strong aluminum bumper with swing outs. But I understand the challenge. Thanks, SOS CONCEPTS.

It has to do with our hinge system. We would have to completely redesign that at this time it's not really in the cards. We are looking at doing a cut version of this bumper so that it isn't has heavy. We understand the concern for weight savings.

When someone does this, they’ll own the market. There’s not much out there at the moment. Probably the best is Coastal Off-road in British Columbia, and US customers get the additional saving in the currency exchange. Their aluminum bumper comes in at ~ $2300 as a kit, it’s light, and shouldn’t be a problem to build. It looks strong too. 5052 aluminum, industry standard, 1/4”

We use 6061 3/16" for our aluminum stuff. One thing is that's 2300 bucks minus any fabrication, so if someone doesn't have the aluminum welder set up or skilled enough to weld aluminum taking it to a fabricator is much more expensive than one pre-made. Plus your time is also money so how much do you value your time. We offer some WIY kits for some of our bumpers and 4th gen 4runner sliders.

I just checked out that rear so the style hinge they use with the double heims work ok, not an ideal hinge set up and heims well they, their heims. Also the double shear brackets they use for the swingout are a little anemic and if thats how they do them in the aluminum I wouldn't trust them for long term you'd start having issues. We run a gusseted 3/8" steel plate for the hing then a huge oilimpregnated bronze bushing w/ a 1" dia. bolt. Overkill but works extremely well hell a pic of the bushing and hinge piece is on the 1st page of this thread. If we went to aluminum swingouts to support the weight of the tire we are able to with our set up we'd have to do a lot more to it. Right now we've had guys throw 37s on our swingouts and regularly 35s all day. I wouldn't trust the Coastal set up to those weights even in steel. I've seen the double heim hinge and am not a big fan.
