    I am looking to buy new shocks for my 89 T4R. What are some good options? Also, What else should I replace while im in there? Anything I can upgrade worth while?

    You wanting oem style or a lift? I would check and replace anything rubber or anything that feels loose. If it hasn’t had regular maintenance there could be quite a few parts to replace.

    LCE header, 2.5 inch exhaust, 31x 10.50 BF Goodrich, 15 X 8 aluminum wheels, Bilstein Shocks, 3 inch lift kit, 3M fender flares
    I had stock shocks for my 1985 4 Runner...I put Bilsteins on a couple of years ago and will not replace with anything but...they changed the ride on truck to a very comfortable, secure feeling ride... the stock shocks were mushy and leaned on turns too much. I'll bet others who have Bilsteins will say the same...

    None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
    I put Rancho's on my 87 Runner, including the steering stabilizer, back in 90 or 92, somewhere in there. They're still working fine. Nice off-road, quite comfortable on road, corners very nicely for a vehicle with such a high CoG...

    Just my 2 pennies worth
