Fun fact about the rear power window. Your wiper will not work if it's 1/4 of a millimeter down. If it ever doesn't work for you hit the window up button and it will. Ask me how I know.

Why, because I got a features wrong? I was told by the dealership that you can program the FOB to start the car. Maybe this is a dealership only thing.
How do I know if I don't ask?

I feel like I am beating a dead horse. I got our carista but haven't had a chance to install it. It is apparent from here that remote start is not available from that unit.
Looking on Toyota.com I found this. Can anyone explain what this will do & if it only costs $7.50 to turn our keys into a remote start.
I just hate aftermarket remote starters & alarms.
As always thanks for the input.

you'll need something like this. i believe the $7.50 is the fee to assign a key fob.

That makes sense (wish they made it easy to understand). I guess $280 is not that bad for plug & play.
Any other suggestions? I am open to suggestions. No Viper or Autopage! Lol
    TIA
