    Hi Fellas,

My wife hit a curb with her 4runner the other day hard, shredded her tire, and destroyed the driver side suspension and steering components. At first it looked like it just needed an alignment, but when I took it to the shop they said it bent pretty much everything and that it was going to be $2400 to fix. That seems a little steep to me, maybe I'm wrong.

Does anyone have a ballpark estimate as to how much those parts would be? he mentioned control arms, steering knuckle, shock, pretty much the whole assembly I think. I'm mechanically inclined, but I don't know if it is worth me fixing it, and then taking it to get aligned, or just to have someone else do it.

without knowing what type/year runner you have, it's hard to get quotes. here's a link where can look at suspension parts for a 2016 TE. you can just change the year and type of runner to get a better price check :)
