Here's the thing - it does make you faster, by removing the delay lag to the throttle. I would get through a stoplight much "faster" than a 4runner without one, no change in HP. Do you watch drag racing? The person whom gets off the line quickest usually wins, it doesn't have to be the fastest car or one with more HP. The issue for most people in terms of performance, isn't that it can't go 90MPH, or that the engine needs more HP for the average soccer mom. It is the lag and delay when you hit that peddle. A zippier car off the line, isn't just a feeling of being faster. 0-60 would actually be faster, if I eliminate the .25 or .5 second delay it takes for the RPM's to get up and go - guess what, the time is actually faster. Does that mean a $250 piece of hardware is going to do the same as a $5k supercharger? Do you think we are sitting here on a car forum and actually think that is how engines work?

    I've done 100 in mine.
Quicker and faster are different things.

I thought we were done with this side-track.

Semantics. Quicker, Faster, Sportier, whatever. If you are buying a PC/SB - you don't need mansplaining that it doesn't give you extra HP - you just want a more fun car to drive - and that brings us full circle to the guys wife. A car with a faster punch to it - is just more enjoyable.

    Brett (OP),
Has not been on the forum since the accusations (to my knowledge).
He was a nice & helpful person on this forum.
It would truly be a shame if this is what drove him away.
Have respect for each other people.
I hope to see him back.
    Ryan.
