    Stock as a rock.
Greetings! I just bought my very first Toyota. As of Friday, I own a white 1997 4Runner Limited. It needs a head gasket. But, what I gather so far, the 3.4 is bulletproof. The interior was scabbed over with crumbled Ruffles, crushed Oreos, popcorn and Cheerios, all cemented in place with spilled milkshakes. After the better part of 3 hours of scrubbing, vacuuming and the use of cleaning agents banned by NATO, I found the carpet. I was pointed in the direction of a carpet kit, which I very much am contemplating the purchase thereof.

All in all, she's a peach. Straight as an arrow and never been off the pavement. (At least, not the way I take rigs off the pavement). Second owner was a single mom that had it for 20 years.

I look forward to fixing it up, putting on quality, useful mods, and having my first rig with a locking diff.

Glad to be here. Any input, suggestions and links to ::trustworthy:: vendors are welcome.

    -Matt
