Who cares? This never shows everything anyway.
My 4Runner's pretty dusty. I'm sure I'd notice boob prints.

I find it weirdly aggravating when I pass these limp dick drivers in stock Wranglers who have clearly never engaged 4wd let alone gone off road, and their entire dash is littered with children's bath toys. You just know they bought most of those themselves. So lame.

We absolutely do not need anything like that and I will shove any trinkets left on my hood right up the offending trinket -leaver's tailpipe. Mechanical or anatomical. My choice.

Those same Jeeps are 78% likely to have color keyed door hinges and handles.

I'm often amazed when I see a Wrangler in my general area that doesn't have a winch or some off road accouterments...

...and to be clear, the ones that look decked out to go off-road seem to be pinstripe free.

The duck thing extra aggravates me when I see like a Compass or Renegade or whatever the car based Jeep thing is with a dash full!

Also, just a random thought, has anyone ever actually seen a parked Jeep with freshly deposited duckage on its hood, left there by someone? I look at other people's cars in parking lots, especially off road builds, and I have never, not one time, seen a duck someone left for another Jeep owner. I reaffirm that 95% of these things are owner installed in an effort to show other Jeep owners how blisteringly awesome they are.

That could easily be interpreted a certain way by others. Probably a good thing you don’t do that with your 4Runner.

These wound up on my dash the year I bought the 4Runner. I won them at an arcade that was attached to a bar we were hanging out at and set them there as a joke. Now they have been there for over 4 years, lol!

If Wranglers deserve ducks, do we deserve Sasquatch?? Unfortunately, we can't give them away because they seem pretty pricey.

I had a green FJ40 we named the Mud Sloth (sloths are the only mammal with naturally green hair=it's a specific alga that only grows on their fur!).

I saw a new Bronco the other day with ducks on the dashboard. Lots of them. Egh … I don’t think 4Runner people need that. We don’t need the two finger wave. But we might need the simple reminder of community like this place. ?

I recently saw a new Ford Bronco with a dash full of ducks. I say leave that to Jeep and please don’t invade our world. I always like the Jeep wave, but again, that’s their thing. I’ve only been a 4Runner owner for 10 days and what I like about “us” is this community here, I had no idea this existed. And yeah, I like the idea of parking next to another 4R when given a chance, that’s like a secret handshake.

I'm cool with the Jeep wave, that's aight.

I do think those handprint things on their mirrors are weird. Like a backup in case they miss a Jeep that goes by, the decal catches them and offers up a wave.

I enjoy spotting the ones where the owners don't have a firm grasp on biology and install the hand on the wrong side.
