    It has happened twice, but i will start the truck, and the 4x4 light will flash, even though i am in 2wd and suggestions?

    Thats weird. Have you tried engaging 4x4 and then disengaging it and starting your 4runner again?

    I'd talk to your dealership for warranty work.

    Yea no issues shifting into 4x4, and hate going to the dealer always blaming crap in my lift.
    And it did not happen right after each other, it was a week apart.

    I would guess an electrical issue . could be the 4wd select switch circuits or transfer switch actuator ..

    It is the the manual stick not the electrical knob, hasnt happend in awhile seeing if it happens again.

    So now while i was in idle, all of the suden my crawl control indicator flashes, and my traction control light came on. I had to turn off my truck and start it again for them to go away, now i am starting to think it is an electrical issue.

    Seems to be one of my ABS speed sensors, common problem when a lift or shocks are replaced, because the copper can be easily broken.
