Hi, I'm new to the forum. I need help, has anybody had this issue? Not sure where to look. I was told that it's the gas cap. These lights came on after I got an oil change and a flat repaired.

Lights: Check Engine/ Multi-terrain select indicator/ Atrack indicator.

    Thank,

Yeah thats not the gas cap.

I think they might of whacked a sensor when they pulled the tire off for repair.

Humm...never thought It could be a tire sensor issue. I look into that.

An OBDII dongle+phone app or separate scanner will display the DTC codes.

I got those same lights on not long after buying my new 4R. Turned out it was a rodent-chewed injector wire. Just a thought...might be worth checking out, and just coincidence that it happened when you had the other work done...

I had a flat fixed a couple of years ago on my 2018 TRD OR, and they destroyed the TPMS sensor. I didn't have those same lights. In my case just the TPMS light came on. Not saying your symptoms aren't the TPMS sensor. Just saying my symptoms were different.

Exactly, what I said - but of course the Mechanic/Tire shop wont own up to it.

I guess we should start from when you picked it up.

Were the lights on when you got it back or came on after? If they were on when you picked it up you should of never taken it back.

No, the lights turned on after I picked it up. I parked the truck at work, and when I came back for lunch is when they turned on after turning it on.

ps: update. Called Toyota and apparently my truck YR/MODEL has a recall. Dropping off at Toyota in the morning. Free repairs thank goodness! Crossing my fingers.

Its probably the fuel pump recall. Unless they told you its specifically for the lights.

So, got the issue repaired. Lights were indeed the gas cap. Also, got my recall taken care of and yes it was the fuel pump. That being said, all codes are off now and back to normal. Thank you everyone!

I had the same issue yesterday on my 2018 Limited. Took the gas cap off and re-installed - problem resolved..... Thanks!

Tried a new gas cap today and seems to have helped. Could be anecdotal bc I am an optimist. Will hope it's not there tomorrow.
