Hi -- I'm a new forum member and recently purchased a new 2016 4Runner Trail Premium. I'm interested in suggestions on high quality front/other suspension mods for a Trail Premium to be similar to and perform as well as a TRD Pro, as I couldn't find a TRD Pro. Any ideas/suggestions? Many thanks in advance.

I would say that the closest set up to a TRD pro would be bilstein 5100 shocks set at 1.5" of lift. They are cheap and ride okay.

However, you should look into high quality products while you're at it such as Icon, King, Fox, ADS, Walker Evans, etc.

Check out @ToyTec Lifts for springs as well.

Lifted on 35s and Relentless Armored, too much to list!
Personally I'd do the Total Chaos upper control arms, King coilovers front, king shocks rear and some rear lift coils of your height preference. Will ride and perform better than the TRD PRO both on and offroad!
We'll have that setup on my wife's 2016 TEP soon. We were initially going to get a Pro but between the difficulty in acquiring one, the pricing, and the fact we would have changed it to that King suspension with different wheels/tires anyways we decided the TEP was a better fit.

Subd this as I want a TRD Pro bad, as I'll probably never lift the rig, BUT wife's only requirement is a sunroof. It'll be my primary vehicle as we are trading in my Tacoma. I can wrench on the vehicle no problem so I am gathering what should be my "Wish-List" for a suspension upgrade.

All honesty I want a Silver TEP the most I think. :D
